Player Development & Placement

Player placement is based on Little League league age, skill evaluations (where applicable), safety considerations, and roster needs. JCLL is committed to placing players in environments that best support their development while maintaining balanced and competitive teams.

Player's league age is based on their age as of August 31st of the year in which the season occurs. Little League provides a league age calculator, which can be found here: LEAGUE AGE CALCULATOR
